About Cole
Before becoming a therapist, much of my work focused on advocacy, outreach, and helping individuals navigate complex systems and major life transitions. Through that work, I became increasingly aware of the deeper emotional and relational dynamics shaping people’s decisions — including identity, belonging, anxiety, and grief. That recognition led me to pursue clinical training at Vanderbilt University and transition into full-time therapeutic practice in Nashville. Today, I draw on both my clinical training and my broader professional background to support individuals and couples with thoughtfulness and clarity.
My Approach
My approach to therapy is collaborative, relationally oriented, and grounded in evidence-based practices. I draw from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and relational frameworks to help you better understand your thoughts, emotions, and recurring patterns. Internal Family Systems (IFS) and parts language are woven throughout my work, offering a compassionate way to make sense of your inner experience. Our work balances reflection with practical tools — building insight while strengthening skills to respond differently. Therapy with me is steady and growth-oriented, grounded in connection and guided by your values.
